Café Bazaar is a leading consumer internet company that runs the largest Android app store in the country, Bazaar, serving more than 50 million Persian speaking people around the globe. It also owns Divar, the leading classified advertising platform in Iran.
Café Bazaar Group – App Store
Over 40 million Iranian users have installed Café Bazaar’s application on their phones. Of this figure, more than 0.5 million users live outside Iran. Café Bazaar is monetizing its App Store and the company maintains its market share at about 85-90% percent. Also, users have access to a great variety of video content such as movies and TV series on Bazaar website. Currently, some well-known video content providers such as Filimo, Namava, and Digitoon are active on Bazaar.
Café Bazaar Group – Divar
Café Bazaar Group also owns 100 percent of Iran’s largest online classifieds company, Divar. Divar has been the most downloaded app from Café Bazaar and, with its high-level of brand awareness, has an active presence in 60 cities in Iran. Divar aims to provide a platform for market efficiency, support players in various industries and encourage sustainability. This year, Divar reached over 35 million monthly active users and over 120 million ads were posted, with around 6 billion average monthly ad views.
